Christian Youth - An Endangered Species!!

Christian Youth are the church of tomorrow and Christian Youth also the church of the present. If you ask any youth ministry leader they will most likely espouse to the former not the latter.

Today’s Christian youth is a generation that needs to be reckoned with because today’s Christian youth are the ones who will carry the story of the gospel to future generations. They are strong and they are courageous and bold, bold enough to rise to the occasion.

Today’s Christian youth will have the burden of passing on their faith to those who follow them. Christianity has always been one generation from ceasing to exist. The senior pastor at the church that I had the privilege of serving as Director of Junior High Ministry has said “Christianity is one generation of dying because God doesn’t have any grand children”. No one can get to heaven on the merits of someone else, like parents. Each person must make the choice to follow Jesus Christ themselves.

In order for today’s Christian youth to carry the gospel they must, and I can’t emphasize this enough, they must be firmly grounded in their faith. To be firmly grounded in their faith, today’s Christian youth need to be firmly grounded in the Bible, the Word of God. To become firmly grounded in their faith they need to spend significant time G-TRAX Devo’s provide Christian youth with the tools that would allow them to dig into God’s Word on a daily basis. Christian youth need a creative.

Christian youth are our best for passing the Christian faith onto the next generation. I know Christian youth of today are strong and courageous and bold in speaking of their faith in Jesus Christ.

Just like today’s Christian youth, parents have an equally important responsibility in raising their son or daughter. Every parent leaves a legacy whether they know it or not.
